Flanders own Projinit IT consultancy showing Olympic growth
Projinit I.T. Consulting, with headquarters in Buggenhout & training center in Temse, Belgium, has reported gold-medal growth for the first two quarters of this year and a strong outlook for the next 18 months.
Founded in 1997 by Samuel Caulier, Projinit provides support and network IT engineers to a variety of IT organisations on an as-needed basis. The company started small and spent most of the past decade refining its offering and honing its business. Staff grew gradually as the business steadily expanded.
Recently, though, business has really taken off and shows no signs of slowing down. From an employee roster of 10 at the end of 2007, the company ramped up to 35 this summer and, based on current demand in the pipeline, Projinit projects growing to 70 staff members by mid-2009.
Good news for the region
Along with the rapid rise in personnel, of course, the company is enjoying a comparable increase in turnover: from EUR 520,000 for the period April 2007 - March 2008, to an estimated EUR1,500,000 for April 2008 - March 2009. Amidst the general concern about a weakening European economy, Projinit is painting a very positive picture for Flanders in the IT services sector.
Our focus remains on providing service desk and infrastructure specialists who are on our permanent pay-roll says owner and business manager Sam Caulier. We have developed several new partnerships in the market, which will enable us to grow to 70 employees and more. And because we now have more profiles and a wider range of ICT skills available to the market, we're becoming even more interesting as a partner to ICT firms as they serve their end clients.
